Expressive? Duh....

Today's my last day of lunch-at-office week - I did not bring lunch from home the whole of this week because I really did not have time to cook between falling sick and work pressure. And since I am sooooo optimistic, I have realized that you have to eat out at least once in a while to realize the worth of home-cooked food....ghar ka khaana........ahaaaaaaaaaa.....

Now, before I start salivating (and make a mess of myself in the process) let me digress.

Dealing with hunger-pangs at noon was common. But ruminating as to what to eat for lunch was uncommon. So, today was no exception with respect to this oddity as I seriously contemplated the menu for pet-pooja. "South-Indian lunch- anything but South-Indian"....."North-Indian lunch - too heavy"...and thus I went away ticking my mental checklist. Finally, I settled for the good old Mosaranna. Unfortunately, for a foodie (also read as petu), it was not sufficient. So, went back to square one, in this case the menu, for another round of comtemplation. My gaze immediately locked over one word - Dahi Vada and lo behold, one jhat-pat decision, I had it in front of me overflowing with curds and lotz of khaara bhoondi liberally sprinkled over it. Sssslllllllluuuuuuuuurrrrrrrpppp....!!

A confession here - I tend to enjoy whatever I eat so and I make no bones about it. Before your mind runs amok with slurping loudly, licking fingers and all that (manner less) stuff, let me clarify - no, I enjoy my food just as I enjoy being alive - naturally.

So, here I was, savoring every bite of my Mosaru-Vade and lost in my own world when I chanced to see the table opposite mine. A guy there was taking in the scene before him, i.e. me devouring MV, with a most amused expression. Aawww.....stared at him for sometime and continued eating; nothing can come between me and food and that includes a nosy parker/observant fellow (NP/OF). Having (regretfully) done with my MV, I was on my way out when I heard a pleasant voice above my head, "Do you know that you happen to have a very expressive face?". I looked up to find NP/OF smiling at me. I nodded in response and made a quick getaway.

Me..... and expressive face? Hmmm.....have to work on this.....
