And the right answer is....

The basis for this question was a communication workshop which I had attended as a part of my training plan. Though this was more oriented towards the business requirements, it did make me realize what a vital role communication plays in our life - both personal and professional.

Angada and Chitra (noooo.....this is not me) came close to guessing the right answer. But Ravi waked away with the prize on his second guess – he had so much of clues/comments to start with. Three cheers for Ravi
:) !

On a much serious note, how many times have we felt "if only we had talked, things would have worked out better"....."if only we had managed to communicate"...."if only I had not been so egoistic"..."if only I had been honest enough"..."if only....."?

Unspoken thoughts....relationships ending before they even begin....smothered feelings....pangs of loneliness....

Unfortunately, communication's a two way process – an echo effect. But what if there's no corresponding echo?

Life goes on....we move on...without regrets.....once we let go.....

//if only...

u know what,
the regret you feel,
For things not done…
For words not said…
For love not shown…
is much harder than the one when you've done all these and dint get the echo...
so...... :) and move on... you played your role ateast :)

Chitra,

I had guessed it. Saying the right thing at the right time is so imp....Things which are unsaid should remain unsaid..

My blog on gifts was one such thing... Now i am having second thoughts on whether Should i have written it...

Anyway, nothing can be done now.

Somehow, i never learnt it and let alone master it..

yaaaa... thats true,
we dont even listen to our own self...
so much of internal monologues and dialogues keep happening...
we really dont listen to our-self.

Talking 90% of the time?.. that did mislead me to some extent.. :).. But then, I should have considered the author is a female.. ;)..

BTW, the point you made was very true. One must communicate his/her feelings to the other.
