Those moments of self-realization

That sense of ‘achievement’

Those glimpses into my life

It’s time I closed that window

T'is the time to wrap up

T'is the time to be nostalgic

T'is the time to utter “Jolly good show”

T'is the time to utter those niceties

For all that encouragement

For all that trust

For that occasional ‘shoulder’ to cry on

I thank….and I thank thee

T'is not goodbye

T'is not a promise either

I am there, as always
