I know...I know...

Me thinks me very lucky.....

Right at the time when I was at my floating best, I got a call from Appu with the news that she would be visiting me sometime in the evening.

Wow....... and the ungrateful creature that I am, I wanted be alone.

Still, garnered enough cheerfulness (well......reserve stock abhi baaki hai) and finally met her. My spirits lifted a bit after meeting an old friend and one with whom communication is on a roll. After talking (and eating) to our heart’s content, we boarded the bus back home.

While I immediately grabbed a place beside a newly married lady (well......that was taking into consideration the amount of jewellery on her), it was quite some time before Appu could find an empty seat.

“Tee hee......that means you will be the one married next. I cannot wait to see that......” remarked Appu with a mischievous smile.

“Ha ha ha...very funny....keep waiting.....” was my dour reply.

Now....... I wonder what would be her reaction had I revealed that I sit beside pregnant women too.

Okay.....okay......that was my sarcasm speaking!
