Vairaagya

I am in the midst of those (rare) days when I get bored easily. And boredom generally brings out the creative streak in me.......

I start craving for something new to taste leading to more experimentation in the kitchen.....and exasperation in some others :-).

I go on a book-buying binge. And indeed, I would never have even considered buying let alone reading some during my saner days.

I start day-dreaming.....so much that my glassy countenance could be seriously mistaken for a lunatic gone berserk albeit a bit on the calmer side.

I resume considering all those wacky ideas .....like (God forbid me from even implementing this) dieting, which I had written off during my college days.

I can spend hours staring outside the bus-window (thanks to traffic jams) and yet not remember single thought later onwards.

I conveniently forget my mobile and purse in office because I would be so lost in my own world...and then come up with a list of all possibilities as to where..and how I would have lost it.

Some crazy ideas as to what to do with my future (looming ahead like a dark tunnel, I should add).

And it was during one of these borer’s-block (remember writer’s block?) that I got the ‘creative’ impulse to forward an article I had written to Sree....and thus this was born.

And it helps that I'm just back from a (well-deserved) vacation....and am having a hangover of sorts.

Suffice to say, I've become something like this :-)...
